Those who deny climate change are wrong.
It has been understood since the 19th century that some gases trap heat within a system. Joseph Fourier introduced the idea in 1824 and was backed up by experimental observation in 1859 by John Tyndall. The physics of the process is well understood and has been shown experimentally.
Data gathered at the Mauna Loa observatory is available here. Below is a plot of CO2 measured as a mole fraction in dry air, micromol/mol, abbreviated as ppm against the decimal year.
Note there are a few months where the CO2 level is -99.99, these may be nulls - missing values
According to NOAA, the hottest years on record, since 1880 are:
The science is well established and states that gases like CO2 can create a green house effect and since records began there has been an upward trend in the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. We also know that the world is getting hotter, It is easy to see the cause and effect .
We have a choice, face up to and solve the problems or destroy our planet.
